I would like to share my experience to buy a property in Markham. How I was tricked/cheated for making an offer. My real estate Broker Mr. Mazhar Kaif associated with RE/MAX Crossroads Realty Inc., had me in confidence to be a good broker and I fully trusted him for my purchase deal. Mr. Mazhar Kaif negotiated the price of house and some way conveyance/asked me to make an offer without a condition (waived the conditions). That property ended up a grow up property, seller doesn’t want to return my deposit and I am not willing to buy a house with an stigma attached.
I simply want to inform and bring in the knowledge of buyer and seller, do not trust Mr. Mazhar Kaif, do your home work or you will be one of the victims as well.

I am available at [email protected]

"Canada’s biggest condo market:

Sales of new units in the latest quarter were down 24% from the summer and 18% from a year ago. Ouch.
Sales of new condos were the worst in five years, and have now declined for nine months.
Resales are also collapsing, off 28% from mid-year and 25% from October of 2009."

@ Pete - I know you're going to accuse me of all sorts of nasty things instead of answering the question, but what's your source for your info? According to http://guava.ca/indicators.html it appears that Sales are actually reversing the trend the past 3 months. They may be down relative to the same period last year but average price and median price are both way up compared to the same period so some of that makes sense and to report only one set of data is at least a little misleading. But I know you're just going to insult me even though in a previous post the other day I advised not buying a house. Sigh.
